Operations Manager
  • Responsible for drafting the initial business plan for this start-up IT company that included the corporate mission statement, initial marketing strategy and short and long term goals.
  • Developed and implemented the company's first Human Resource policies, procedures and employee package that included employment application forms, Federal Government required employment forms, Employee Non-disclosure Policy Statements, and the initial 7-page employee handbook containing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Researched and identified the most cost effective and user-friendly corporate solution for credit card processing and E-Commerce/Internet sales capabilities for new software products.
  • Developed and edited the initial marketing video script and coordinated the creation of the first marketing video.
  • Responsible for negotiating and closing initial marketing contracts and an international technology development contract valued at $40,000.
  • Negotiated and implemented reseller agreements with two industry-leading RFID animal hardware suppliers.
  • Performed extensive strategic planning and strategic management in the initial development of the company. Worked with corporate officers on all aspects of financing and financial management.

Contract Manager
  • One of six companies producing United States Air Force embedded computer chip identification cards.
  • Managed two support contracts valued at $500,000 and was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the support team of 17. Coordinated contract modifications through the program manager and managed employee travel, labor charges and expenses.
  • Authorized by the Air Force to recover PKI encryption keys when required to meet mission needs and requirements.
  • Developed and implemented a Memorandum of Agreements to support the PKI implementation project.
  • Project Manager for the Global Broadcast Assessment Team responsible for managing a team of 8 engineers in the development of a solution to use the GBS satellite network to distribute PKI products and services.
  • Team Member for the Theater Battle management Core System (TBMCS) responsible for brining the system up to Department of Defense compliance standards.
  • Developed the Basis of Estimate establishing a baseline for determining required contract man-year hours utilized in the initial budget baseline. Reported initial estimate variance reports justifying a 5% variance from the established baseline.
  • Managed daily operations at the United States Air Force Mobile Registration Unit overseeing a team of 11 registration and issuance employees and 4 reader and middleware installers. Responsible for developing the business strategies and support initiatives for multiple operations in varied locations.
